Continuous Water Quality Monitoring and Sampling in Romblon

The Environmental Management Service – Romblon, led by Chief EMS Irwin A. Anzaldo, Environmental Monitoring Officers (EnMO) Florand Valencia and Jeiel Lachica, together with Engineer II Wilsone Ray Añoso conducted a series of water sampling in the surrounding waters of San Jose and Looc Bay in Romblon on November 17 to 18, 2020.
This is in compliance with EMB’s mandate under Republic Act 9275, otherwise known as the Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004. The water sampling is being conducted every first and fourth week of the month in order to measure and monitor the quality of water in the area and determine if it is meeting the prescribed water quality in the province of Romblon.
